Bio: Stephanie Forshee is a journalist based in New York City. She most recently served as the research director and data reporter for the Puget Sound Business Journal. Prior to that, she worked as the retail and hospitality reporter for the San Fernando Valley Business Journal.

Prior to that, Stephanie served as the senior editor for F&I and Showroom and Auto Dealer Monthly, two national trade magazines aimed to inform and assist auto dealers in their everyday practices.

She is a graduate of New School University in New York City, where she received a B.F.A. in Musical Theatre.

Her reporting has appeared in various publications throughout Southern California, such as Daily News, Daily Breeze, San Fernando Valley Business Journal, The Daily Independent, Culver City News and Campus Circle.

Stephanie was nationally recognized for Best Small Magazine Feature in 2014 by the Society of American Business Editors and Writers, as well as the Western Publishing Association for Best Trade News Story. The piece, Inside Job: Special Report on Embezzlement, which appeared in Auto Dealer Monthly, also received second place for Best Magazine Feature from the Los Angeles Press Club.

Her story Viral Attack, which told the story of a Massachusetts dealership that was the victim of defamation via social media, was recognized as a 2013 Southern California Journalism Awards finalist. She was also named a 2015 Goldschmidt Data Fellow by SABEW.
